How to Make a Homemade Skin Peel

Ingredients

The ingredients you’ll need to create the peel include 2 tbsp granulated cane sugar – 1 package unflavored gelatine – half cup water – small saucepan – 2 quart saucepan – 6 cups water – slotted spoon – 1 ripe tomato – Saucer – Blender – 1 tbsp orange juice – 1 tbsp lemon juice – Skin cleanser – Small plastic container with self sealing lid

Preparation

Combine 2 tbsp granulated cane sugar and one packet of unflavored gelatine in a saucepan. Glycolic acid present in sugar is an excellent peeling agent while gelatine works to thicken the mixture.

Next add half up water to the mixture and heat it on slow heat until it is thoroughly dissolved. Keep on whipping the mixture while heating.

Cool down the mixture for a couple of minutes and then pour the mixture in a blender.

Now take six cups of water in another saucepan and heat it until boiled. Add one ripened tomato to the scorching water and allow it to boil until its skin starts to come off. Tomatoes facilitate the restoration of natural pH balance of skin.

Take the tomato out and place it in a container full of cold water.

Once the tomato is cool enough, peel it and put it in the blender containing sugar and gelatine mixture after cutting it in four pieces. Also add orange juice and lemon juice in the mixture.

Blend the mixture until you get a consistent paste. Store the paste in an air tight jar and use it regularly.
